Yoga isn’t just about becoming flexible and strong while reducing stress, it can also help you sleep better, and overall contribute to a better quality of life. I have students who have suffered from insomnia and when they practice daily, sleep gets better and longer, they fall asleep faster, and are able to return to sleep again. Yoga helps regulate and improve our overall sleep by relaxing and calming the mind and body. Adding regular exercise, yoga, or meditation into your daily/weekly routine can help turn up that internal dial of inner peace and a better nights sleep.
