Balanced Diet, Balanced Mind

Its important to keep a healthy diet for good physical health + mental health. When we practice keep our minds and body aligned we operate and function at our greatest capacity. I like to think of it like this: Your body is a car. What kind of fuel do you put in it to keep it running efficiently and strong?

Opening up the body mindfully and with attention on the breathe has proven to unlock blocked energy and have many health benefits to its practitioners by regulating many or all systems of the body like, raspatory, lymphatic, skeletal, reproduction, muscular and more.

Some of my tips and tricks for keeping my mind and body healthy are simple adjustments that are easy to add into your daily routine. I eat very little to no dairy (yep, that’s right! no cheese, yogurt, or milk) no red meat, and do by best to stay away from bread.

Example grocery list:

  • Spinach
  • Kale
  • Brocolini Sprouts
  • Mushrooms
  • Carrots
  • Beets
  • Ginger
  • Cilantro
  • Sweet Potato
  • Berries
  • Bananas
  • Non Dairy Almond Milk (I like Calfia)
  • Non Dairy creamer
  • Eggs
  • Protein (Chicken, Turkey, or Fish)
  • GF Sprouted Oats

I have seen significant changes in my overall appearance, skin and bloating from cutting out dairy. My eyes look whiter and brighter and I’ve noticed my breathing and sinus concerns have dramatically been reduced.
